Alison Moore

I offer professional supervision to Counsellors, Psychotherapists and Trainees in Blandford Forum.

logo Building on 25 years management experience, I have expanded my Counselling Practice into Supervision. I have a Post Graduate Certificate in Counselling Supervision from the University of Gloucestershire, and I adhere to the BACP and NCS ethical frameworks. I am an experienced counsellor, accredited with both.

I work in an Integrative way, always keeping my original Humanistic training in mind. I have a keen interest in Mindfulness based practice.

paving slabs I offer supervision on an individual or group basis, and I am guided by Inskipp & Proctor's Normative, Formative Restorative supervision model. This means that I see Supervision as time and space for reflection, thought and, perhaps, gentle, supportive challenge to help you with your clients, as well as your own personal well-being.

I am passionate about us being the best we can be, and feel privileged to be able to be with others on their journey.

logo I have counselling experience from a variety of settings:

  • GP Surgery
  • Occupational Health Counsellor
  • NHS Trust
  • Voluntary settings
  • Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP)
  • Private Practice

I am a qualified trainer, delivering currently on Counselling Training programmes, which keeps me up to date with current thinking and challenges.

I offer sessions flexibly, with some evening and weekend availability. Supervision also available by VSee or telephone, so that I can support you outside of ‘9 – 5’.
